About AlphaBravoMarine3D
Marine experience. Local manufacturing. Practical solutions.
AlphaBravoMarine3D is the 3D-printing division of AlphaBravo Marine, a Malta-based marine technical business specialising in electrical, mechanical and custom technical solutions for boats and yachts.
Our experience in the marine industry led us to start using 3D printing to solve a very common problem in boating: finding replacement parts that are no longer available, difficult to source, or unnecessarily expensive to replace.
Rather than waiting weeks for a discontinued plastic component to arrive from another country, we can design, modify and manufacture many parts locally in Malta.
From Marine Repairs to 3D Printing
AlphaBravo Marine was established as a full-time business in 2022, following years of experience working in the marine sector.
Our work has involved marine electrical installations and repairs, mechanical work, hydraulic systems, solar installations, fault finding and custom technical solutions.
3D printing naturally became another tool in our workshop.
We began producing custom and replacement components for boats, including covers, brackets, holders, protective panels, clips and other small components that can be difficult to source through traditional marine suppliers.
Today, AlphaBravoMarine3D brings that marine experience directly into the world of 3D-printed products.
Designed for Marine Use
We don't approach 3D printing simply as a way of making decorative products.
Our focus is on creating useful, practical parts and accessories designed around real-world applications.
Our products are developed with considerations such as:
- Marine environments
- Space limitations aboard boats
- Existing equipment and mounting points
- Replacement of obsolete plastic components
- Custom dimensions
- Practical everyday use
- Material suitability for the application
Where appropriate, we use engineering and technical materials such as ASA, TPU and other durable polymers depending on the requirements of the part.
Custom Parts & Obsolete Components
One of our main areas of interest is custom and obsolete marine parts.
If a plastic component is no longer manufactured, difficult to find, or only available as part of an expensive complete assembly, it may be possible to reproduce or redesign the component using 3D printing.
We can work from:
- An existing part
- Measurements
- Photographs
- Drawings
- A damaged or broken component
- An existing 3D model
We can also design completely new components where an off-the-shelf solution isn't suitable.
Our Products
Alongside custom marine parts, AlphaBravoMarine3D produces a growing range of practical accessories for boats, yachts, RVs and everyday use.
Our products include protective covers, holders, coasters, brackets and other custom-designed accessories.
Every product is designed and produced by AlphaBravoMarine3D in Malta.
Because our products are manufactured using 3D printing, small variations in surface finish or layer appearance may occur. We consider this part of the individual manufacturing process.
Why AlphaBravoMarine3D?
We believe that 3D printing is most valuable when it solves a real problem.
Our marine background means that we understand that a small plastic part can sometimes be the difference between equipment being usable and a job being delayed while waiting for a replacement.
Our goal is simple:
Find the problem. Design the solution. Make it locally.
Based in Malta
AlphaBravoMarine3D is based in Malta and operates alongside AlphaBravo Marine.
Our marine technical services are available locally in Malta and Gozo, while our 3D-printed products can be ordered online and shipped to customers internationally, subject to destination restrictions.
